
Urban and Regional Planning Dialogue Series with Christian Berndt, September 4, at 09h30
PPGPUR and the Espaço e Poder Research Group invite Professor and researcher Christian Berndt (University of Zurich) to the Urban and Regional Planning Dialogue Series. The lecture, moderated by Professor Hipólita Siqueira (IPPUR/UFRJ), will focus on the research entitled “Dependent Articulation in the Global Pesticide Complex: The Argentine Agrochemical Industry after the Generic Market Revolution.”
Christian Berndt is Professor of Economic Geography at the University of Zurich and one of the leading scholars in critical studies of the geographies of markets and commodity chains. His current research focuses primarily on the global pesticide complex, social finance, and behavioral economics.
