Wander Guerra is sanitary and Environmental engineer. Master in Population, Territory and Public Statistics by the National School of Statistical Sciences (ENCE / IBGE), with the dissertation defended in 2016. Doctoral student in the Postgraduate Program in Urban and Regional Planning at the Institute of Research and Urban and Regional Planning at the University Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (IPPUR / UFRJ). Researcher in the Space and Power (Espaço e Poder) Research Group. Researches large enterprises, environmental impacts, socio-environmental conflicts and the environment.

The thesis research is about the environmental expressions of underdevelopment that materialize in large development projects, especially those related to the oil industry and Petrobras S.A., such as Gaslub Itaborai (former Petrochemical Complex of Rio de Janeiro).
