PhD candidate in Urban and Regional Planning at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (IPPUR/UFRJ). Completed a doctoral visiting period in the Department of Geography at the University of British Columbia (UBC, Canada), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Jamie Peck. Holds a Master’s degree in Culture and Territorialities from Fluminense Federal University (PPCULT/UFF). Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ).

His research interests revolve around urban and regional planning, economic geography, neoliberalization, commodification, and privatization of urban space.
