Currently conducting research in the field of housing, more specifically on rental assistance in Rio de Janeiro. Based on an analysis of the housing policies implemented in Brazil and in the light of the neoconstitutionalist theory in which housing is seen as a right to be guaranteed by the Constitution, the aim is to better understand how a program such as rent assistance is able (or not) to ensure this right in practice. To this end, the empirical investigation uses data from territories within favelas in Rio de Janeiro.
