Isabela Tramansoli is a master’s student (2019) in Urban and Regional Planning, from the Institute of Research and Urban and Regional Planning (IPPUR) of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). She is a member of the CNPq “Space and Power” Research Group, coordinated by Professor Carlos A. Brandão. She has a degree in Public Policy Management from the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanity (EACH) of the University of São Paulo (USP).

Currently, she develops research on the phenomenon of governance rescaling in the municipalities of Niterói and Maricá, seeking to verify how the use of resources derived from the exploitation of oil royalty resources is related to the process of expanding their state capacities..
