
Cycle of Dialogues in Urban and Regional Planning, May 12, at 1:30 p.m., IPPUR Auditorium
At the next session of the Cycle of Dialogues in Urban and Regional Planning, organized by the Graduate Program in Urban and Regional Planning at UFRJ, we will welcome Professor Thiago Canettieri from UFMG, who will speak on the topic: “Peripheries, Critical Social Reproduction, and Wage-less Urbanization.”
Thiago Canettieri is a professor in the Department of Urbanism at UFMG, regional coordinator of the RMBH branch of the Observatory of the Metropolises (INCT/CNPq), leader of the research group CRITICAR (crisis, labor, capital, and revolt), a researcher at the Cosmópolis group, and an affiliate of the Instituto Alameda.
The discussion will be moderated by Professor Carlos Brandão (IPPUR/UFRJ).
