The Seminar will host researchers Marion Chapouton (GRIDAUH), Alice Fuchs-Cessot (Université 8/Vincennes Saint-Denis), Frédéric Rolin (Université Paris Saclay/GRIDAUH), and Norbert Foulquier (Université 1/SERDEAUT/GRIDAUH) to discuss the provision of urban electricity and basic sanitation services in France, with an emphasis on their socio-environmental, technological, and democratic dimensions.

The discussion will be moderated by Professor Rosangela Luft (IPPUR/UFRJ), and will include comments from Professors Fábio de Oliveira (IPPUR/UFRJ), Suyá Quintslr (IPPUR/UFRJ), Lalita Kraus (IPPUR/UFRJ), and Deborah Werner (IPPUR/UFRJ), as well as audience participation.
The event is open to the public and will be held in Portuguese and French, with simultaneous translation available.
Undergraduate and graduate students will be eligible to receive attendance certificates, upon request via QR code at the event location.
