XXI ENANPUR, from May 19 to 23, 2025

The National Association of Postgraduate Studies and Research in Urban and Regional Planning (ANPUR) has been bringing together researchers, professors, postgraduate and undergraduate students, and professionals involved in Urban and Regional Planning and Urban Studies every two years since 1986.

From May 19 to 23, 2025, the city of Curitiba will host, for the first time, the 21st National Meeting of the National Association of Postgraduate Studies and Research in Urban and Regional Planning (XXI ENANPUR). With the theme “Ideas, Policies, and Practices in the Territorialities of the Global South,” the proposal aims to broaden perspectives on scientific production and international academic exchange through South-South integration, contributing to decolonizing thought on urban and regional planning. The XXI ENANPUR will provide an opportunity to advance discussions on the agenda of public policies focused on planning and managing territory at multiple scales. In addition to being a space for the exchange of experiences and research results, the XXI ENANPUR takes place at a crucial moment to think about proposals and strategies for the participation of professionals involved in urban and regional issues in the symbolic and productive reconstruction process the country will face in the coming years.

The deadline for submitting papers to Thematic Sessions and proposing Free Sessions at the XXI National Meeting of the National Association of Postgraduate Studies and Research in Urban and Regional Planning has been extended. Originally set to close on November 22, the call has been extended until December 2, 2024.

The Organizing Committee reiterates its invitation for professors, researchers, postgraduate and undergraduate students, professionals, and representatives of social movements, the public sector, and civil society organizations to submit their works.
